Turn the bowl upside down, hold a straight edge across and measure outer edge of the float across from the needle & seat. With the needle fully seated against the spring top of the float gap to edge should be 1/8 to 3/16' of an inch or .125" to .185" . page 14 of this download explains it . https://www.sscycle.com/docs/default...s.pdf?sfvrsn=2
Pretty simple and very forgiving, think I've had to adjust 1 after rebuild or parts replacements. This adjustment will no change unless somebodies fingers have been in there.
