S+S Carb rebuild ??
hello y'all
i am going to need advice or info on a S+S Super E Carb refurbish/rebuild, i am not planning on keeping the Carb on the the Bike i want buy , but i would still like to get it running before replacing it with an OEM Carb, as the S+S thats on the Bike is hopelessly clogged with old gas, the rebuild kits look pretty simple , but just thought i would put this out there any way, any help or advice would be very welcomed, thanks in advance , Troy

Been a couple years since I rebuilt my Super E so Im not fresh on it but I will say its an easy carb to clean/rebuild and tune. Be sure to print out a parts diagram of the carb and take some pictures upon teardown for reference.
The one thing that sticks out to me are the check ***** that are I think in the carb bowl area, specifically part of the accelerator pump if my memory serves me right. Easy for them to fall out and get lost.

ok MattLS6,
the photos of the rebuild kits look pretty simple , but thanks for the tips , the S+S carb i'll be dealing with just overflowed with gas when hooked up to an auxiliary gas tank so for sure the inlet needle & float level will need attention as well, the accelerator pump i don't know about its condition or even if it works or not, but the rebuild kit comes w/ a new diaphragm , so i'll of course just replace it . . .
