1994 Dyna Low Rider Carb Issue
The only thing I can think of is that the diaphragm on the vacuum may be causing the problem. I did notice that my new kit did not include a new diaphragm.
Can anyone else think of what might be causing the bike not to idle?
When you put the kit in the carby did you remove all jets and clean out all the fuel pasages?
I put a kit in mine and she started/ran, but would not idle, i removed the idle jet and found it to be gummed up and also the fuel passage to be tottaly blocked....I used a bristle from a wire brush to push through the passage..then carb cleaner and then compressed air.
It was full of gunk...put the carby back on...adjusted idle screw to 2 1/2 turns out and she idle real nice.
And yes! replace the piston and diaphrame rubber....
Good luck
Aussie Dave.
