Default Rear brake line removal

Rebuilding the brakes on my 1976 FLH, have a question about the rear brake line. Has the original hose with a worn spot like something was rubbing on it for quite a while. I found 3 clips that position the hose along the swing arm, 2 on the arm and 1 under the transmission. the one under the trans is the problem, is there a simple sheet metal screw holding it in place and does it screw from the bottom up or is it held in place by the 9/16" bolt on the top. Scrubbing away a lot of grim and getting old don't have the flexibility to get see everything with out mirrors. There is also a junction where master cylinder meets rear line, can that be dropped from the engine or frame without removing the motor. Tough to get a line wrench on the fitting, tight to the motor. Thank you

Default Rear brake line removal

Hello John, did some searching of the parts book, believe it was page 115 shows the Tee junction held in place with a bolt/nut combo. Looks like only one bolt. Only thing I noticed is book shows nut down, my bike has the bolt head down. Hopefully once removed I will gain the clearance for on in-line wrench.

Someone worked over the one line fitting - you will need a split box line wrench 6 point in 3/8 inch size
