Default Help keep frying multiple regulator

I have a 77 shovelhead hardtail chopper. It is bare bones kick only, points ignition, headlight and taillight. I have a 9ah 12v battery in the horse shoe oil tank. It has been converted at some point to a evo style charging system.

This bike is about to drive me insane the charging system is so simple but something is not right and I can't find it. I have been just burnt my 4th regulator and 4 or 5 batteries. To start the one that came with the bike was bad and when i put it together it overcharged and fried tge first batt. I then ordered a cycle electric ce320l thats meant for bikes with battery in oil tank that one lasted a couple hundred miles and samething overcharged and fried batt. So CE warrantied it out and i put it on and started the bike and nothing no charging. So I then got a cheap dragspecalties regulator a new battery and run a ground directly to the regulator from battery to take out the possible ground issue CE said I may have. That lasted a couple thousand miles and now I'm in the same boat again no charging and it blew all my lights and battery so I'm assuming it overcharged again. I have checked stator every way possible with a meter and test light and it check out good. I have re wired the bike to make sure no bad conectons or frayed wire and even wired in relays to try and help with the load witch shouldn't be much anyway. Iv had it wired with a 30a circuit braker and I guess it was keeping it tripped because it drained a battery like that too in that 2k with the DS regulator. So I'm lost iv checked everything I can think off

What's your stator output? AC volts. Idle, 1k, 2k.

The charging system is designed for a higher capacity battery.
