Hi ya'll
its ben a while sense i've posted in this thread , hers some before & after shots of my FXDG i acquired back in march 2021, i spent 3 weeks converting her back to stock, i just need to get her some new shoes (tires) then a new state inspection, she was last registered back in 1994 !! future plans are to just ride her as she is for now & in 2-3 years when i retire i want to do a complete restoration on her. . . .
just love the W.G. Forks !!
all "before" pictures were taken back in Aug. 2020 when i found her for sale , the "after" photos were taken in Mar.2021 .
hard to tell, but yes its the same Maschine !!
custom & after market vs ohm stock !! i think stock rocks !! all in all a job well done , all most !?!?
even from a short distance my reproduction fender Medallion looks really good . . .

what do you mean " Rubbish Thread . . ." ?
That's what I thought it said ..hence I need new glasses. I would never throw a jab at the early 80s shovelhead bikes... I do respect the guys that keep those old bikes going.
