I believe that i have a "f head" HD engine. Between the years 1911-1929. it is a twin cylinder and all teh parts are there and together. The serial number or model number is 29JD12944. And was wondering if anyone knows about how much this motor is worth or could be sold for? thank you, all comments are appreciated.
I do not know how old this post is, but have you sold this engine?
from Feb 2011 if he was looking to sell it than my guess its gone its almost 3 years ago
and it was his only post - the motor number is too high for me, they did not make that many and its a 1929 JD - it is possable but it would be over 10,000 units the last year of production, when every one was coming out with Big twin flat heads not pocket valve motors they had run the course --johnjzjz
