Hello all, I recently picked up a custom bike and it has a 113 SnS and a 5 speed trans which I’m not sure what make of trans. I am concerned cuz the shifter has to be shifted super hard, and even then it still misses the next gear going up or down sometimes you have to hit the lever twice. Of course this seems ridiculous. Why might it act like this? Once in every gear it feels nice and runs smooth. Just a pain to get it to grab the next gear.
The clutch seems maybe a little loose for my taste so maybe I’m not getting a full release?
Ive raced a lot of bikes on the strip and could say I think this is the worst shifting trans I’ve ever seen. Concerned it’s messed up inside.
