Sounds like the title is clear. In california it's considered "special construction". I own 2 that I've built myself.. AAA insured them for comprehensive and lability. Not sure what collision would cost but I figure if I crash them, I'm going to fix it anyway.. The big issue is resale value and working on them but you seem to be getting it pretty cheap.. HD won't touch them but most indys will if it ain too ratted out.. Yours looks to be a kit bike. These bike will have minor issues depending on which wiring kit was used. They can have big issues depending on which motor was used. If HD, SnS or even a smaller Ultima motor, you'd likely be OK. If Revtech, I'd avoid the motor but their 5 speed trannies are pretty good. Most evo softail bikes used either a BDL or Primo dry primary.. I've had reasonable luck with the Primo but the belt typically needs to be replaced about every 40000 miles. Any idea on the mileage??
