Default Seat for rigid

I am building my first, so be gentle. I am building a semi-custom '53 Panhead, stock santee rigid frame, ect... I don't want to put a spring type seat on it, I want to screw my back up some more and go with mounted type of seat, make any sense? Where can I find such a thing, I'm sure I'm not the first to want something like this. Thanks

Default RE: Seat for rigid

might want to check with santee and see what theyve been using.............alot of the custom shops have them made for the bike............I wanted to do the same thing originally.....problem I found was that the seats didnt fit the contour of the frame, and alot were not the same width.....If you found the same width, the contour wasnt the same...and well it looked like crap.........check with american classic motors...they sell an ultima, that is what you are talkin about.....if it fits properly, thats another story......................... . . .
