DNA Springers?
I was talking to Paughco on the phone yesterday, and when I asked them about the DNA springers, they told me that they were awful....terrible quality and very dangerous. Made from suspect materials and could bend or break from a bump, etc.
He also said they are made in Korea versus USA.
What do you guys know about the DNA Springer?
I do know a Paughco springer is 3 times the cost.

I've had one for almost a year now. Haven't had any problems with it so far. As for Paughco, I have no information as to their product. I do know they're much more expensive, especially for the chrome jobs. I've also seen some of the more reputable builders using DNA front ends, but I doubt that would change the opinions of someone from Paughco...
I cant say ive heard bad things about dna springers but i will say i dont like the design( travel and strength)and cant imagine they ride as nice as what i consider and use which is the springers built by redneck choppers. incredibly stong and wonderful for handling and the amount of travel in them and i use one on a rigid so that says alot in my book but i have riden it four years now. and looks well many custom builders use a redneck springer and they make them any way you want as far as rake trail and finish.i beleive you wont find better . call freddie at redneck tell him wyatt sent ya he will answer your questions good luck
You get what you pay for, DNA springers are cheap. Mitch took his on the EDR last year and after about 2,000 miles, front end was toast. The brass bushing are what I've heard cause some of the problem.
