I just recently sold my 1979 xs hardtail, and picked up this bike for a lot less than I think it might be worth after I get it running.
I'm actually still trying to figure out what exactly I bought today.
Its a custom 2005 softail frame. The motor has some s&s stuff on it, but I can't figure out what the motor actually is. The engine VIN starts off with BKLJ_ _ _ _
Any ideas?
It has a wide glide fork and brand new tires and wheels. Its a 5 speed, and thats all I know. Its missing a couple parts and needs a battery, but for $4K I figured it was worth the mystery.
This is only my second bike so any help for my ignorance is appreciated.
