Default Custom Seat Needed

Does anyone have any suggestions for custom seats for choppers? I've got the seat pan, I just need someone to add the seat foam and cover it and not charge me an arm and a leg.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Where are you? I made the solo seat pan for my chopper and had a local auto upholstry place called "Roger's" do the foam and cover. I took in a drawing of what I wanted and it came out perfect. Only $45. You might find a place real close that can do the same thing...

I'm in Maryland...

I've looked before, and haven't had a whole lot of luck finding anything around. When I first finished the bike, I just bought some foam and covered it myself with vinyl. It turned out ok, but definitely not professional looking, and the padding isn't right so it makes it tough to ride for long periods of time. I'd like to have it done professionally so I get a comfortable seat that looks good too.

Yep - the padding is a huge part of getting it right. I took a drawing of what I wanted the seat to look like, and then we talkled about how the padding should go, thickness and density etc etc. You might check with some of the local car clubs and see who they recommend for upholstery work and then take your seat in and see what they say...
