Handle bar control wiring

What the heck is this

Right side of bars---push button (push off)
Left side of bars ---push button (push on)
Am i an idiot?

Just bought new bars from this place and recieved them today. very nice and came with this diagram. Help please.

left side is a clutch safty switch ,right side is front brake light switch
