Default Which side of Molex connector to release wires?

Going to start feeding wires through bars. Which side to release?

Wires side or pin side? I see on the pin side there are these small holes.

That's an excellent link! Thanks alot!

Got the wires out of the left switch control. Fairly easy once I figured out how it works.

OK, I'm going to try to word this right.......

Those of you who have internally wired your own bars, did you cut the small zip tie inside the left switch control to get the it further (more harness) away from the end of the bar? With the switch control wiring harness pulled all the way through the bar, it seems it needs to go a little further for the grip to fit all the way on the bar. If I mount the control where it is, the bar doesn't slide all the way to the end of the grip. Just needs a little more. Did you cut the zip tie or just push the control over to get the grip all the way on?
