TC96 project
I have a 2010 TC96 from a road glide, a new stock Harley ECM, a factory wiring harness for a road king, a TSM from a touring model. It’s all assembled on a rigid frame.
I have power to lights, turn signals, brake, horn, starter, and headlight. The fuel pump fuse is not getting power and the bike will crank but not start.
I took it to the dealership in the hope that they could flash this new ECM and get something to happen. They tried, and said they could do nothing unless it starts.
Any suggestions on what the next step should be?
Any suggestion why it won’t even start and stall?
I'm considering admiting defeat and dumping the EFI and getting the AMM-P3 ignition and running a carb; probably I'd be happier with the carb anyway. I just wanted to be able to make it work!

i would call some other dealers or better yet see if you can find a Harley tech who has programmed new ECM's. He or she won't have access to the computer system that they use outside of their job but he or she will be able to tell you how it works and if I am correct about the initial program.
Why do I know this you may ask? I had the pleasure of watching them program my new ECM and they made no attempt to start the bike until the VIN number, the model number and some other info was put into the ECM..
If they have a policy of not programming custom bikes then I would demand a refund for the new ECM. If you still want fuel injection after returning the new ECM, you may want to talk to the folks at Zippers about a Thunderheart fuel injection system.
Good luck.
