have been riding the crap out of it since I got it finished, including a 1600 mile trip through New Mexico. Been running good, launches hot and accelerates nicely. It cruses best in sixth gear at 80-85.
Anybody thinking about building a fuel injected twin cam should think twice though, I'll never do it again. Too much cost and effort, stick with the carb and an electronic ignition!
Got a question for ya. I noticed you did custom oil lines. What size fitting goes into the crankcase on the oil lines? Do ya remember?
I want to put custom lines on my street/strip fatboy lo.
Thanks
crap, i don't recall the size; but I think I got them from the harley dealership.
Because of my custom motor mount and the non matching oil bag, I had no choice but to run the rubber lines.
Your fatboy is totally different though. I installed nipples into the custom motor mount, but you have factory ends that I didn't use.
The motor I used was from a Road King, which has internal oil channels. Your twin cam B is completely different.
