My 124" with Barnett Scorpion,is at one spring change that I can go to,after that it will have to be a slipper clutch. The 155" is at the same stage.R&R projects the version I have as approx 170 hp at 185 lb ft.These numbers are quite variable, because of exhaust, ignition, etc.Personally,as with the 124",all I care about is Torque,so that is my focus. The top end hp is way more than anyone needs. So farduring the breakin,I have discovered, the roll-on hit with this new motor is real hard on the rear tire.My gearing is 2:09.
The street 155 puts out 182 torque, thestreet/strip puts out 191. The street puts out 166 hp, thes/s 188. I also have ashow polished 113 R&R Evo engine I'll make someone a deal on.
Randy, trust me, if my bike hadn't broke so early in the season, I would hit you up for a deal, but right now, i'm not able to afford it if you were almost giving it away.......[&o]
After spending the day at R&R with Randy T.they left me with all my questions answered. It was a great day to be with enthusiasts of that caliber.Anyway,I upgraded the Scorpion clutch springs to hold the motor since I am now advancing the timing. As Reg stated, this motor is starting to loosen up and get smoother. With a winshield on it puts a tremendous strain on the clutch. The rollon torque can't be put into words. As R&R's Pistol Pete says: You have to learn how to ride all over again.Whacking the throttle in 1st and 2nd is an exercise in futility,no traction! The music coming out the true duals has to be heard.Somebody will have to hold my hand to get pics posted.Dog
