Can't say I sorry to see it either maybe prices for stuff will start getting a bit more realistic again . The credit card " bikers " sure screwed it up for the rest of us .
Ya. The days of picking up a frame for a couple hundred bucks is gone.
We have a project roller here for sale with an 80" evolution in it. When people see all the cool stuff like the 180 rear stretched frame polished 6 speed gearbox trick wheels they look like kids at Christmas and then they have a look of disgust when they see a stock evolution motor. This bike is being built to be risen. LOL just shows IV its flashy they like it. Don't matter if it'll be dependable. Just make it shiny and the lemming will come. OcC is another piece of **** bike.
Thanks every1 for taking the chopper devil outta my head...
After these many negative reviews heck yeah i'm gonna stay outta BD or anyother chopper for that matter...
Have started taking a hard look at Rocker C,
Its more like a chopper to me and satisfies me that its from my fave m/c manf H-D
They can be fun toys as long you understand they are just toys and will need work , get one cheap enough they are doable but rely on one to be a main bike you'll hate life then .
^^^^^^^ what he said,I have several friends collecting these bikes of the past ,titan, bd , and bourget ,Iron horse and all the other brands that were mainstream back in the mid 2000s .I have seen all their issues with wiring being the main issue on the BD,bourget has some countershaft issues as well as frame weld cracking all of this is the same as a similar year harley will have. The only statement I will make is to stay away from all fuel injection versions because they used electronics that aren't available today except in the used market---------------------oh and by the way the kids titan 100 cube s&s will spank every harley in this area with me on it and it has been a constant grin factor for me at 1/2 the price of a night train or similar bike of the same year
Big dogs suck ! There design was flawed. There construction was flawed. The chief engineer was an idiot. I've been building for near 50 years. He tried to tell me cylinder sleeves are supposed to move. Crap ! Big Dog went under cause they're garbage. Mastiff was so light in the front with a 300 rear, it bounced around like a basketball. I've had a 07 TMC. Frontier for 4 years. No issues. Primary bike is a 2012 CVO. GOOD RIDDANCE TO BIG DOGS

I have not owned a Big Dog but hear they have wiring problems.
I do own a Thunder Mountain Keystone. And I love it! It is well designed and constructed. 2 repairs in the 4 or 5 years that I have owned it. It is s bar bike, I am too damn old to tour on it. I have a Road King for touring.
