Default open primary

I have this small leak on my custom chopp. I have this BDL open primary and it seems to leak on the engine side. The seal behind the stater. I had the bike in the shop several times and they cannot seem to gix it. Can you help a brother out? Thank you

the shop just replaced the seal and torqued the nut to specs. Maybe they are pulling my chain and it sucks.

If it leaks after the seal is replaced it is due to seal damage, or possible damage to the shaft and/or cavity the seal goes in. Have seen the seal installed backwards, too.

.....there are usually two screw holes that are used to hold a clamp for the stater wires in place, if they are missing and are drilled clean through into your crank......then there's your leak, this is what happend on my electra glide sport... or your seal housing may be cracked. Good luck!
