Road King engine/ tranny in softail frame?

What type of modifications are necessary to put a Road King engine (twin cam), transmission in a Harley Softail frame?

Thanks if you can help this new guy on his first build.

No,totally different animal. I am assuming you have a solid mount softail? Might help to mention year of the machines.!

Sorry ............ I will be picking up the engine, tranny, primary drive, fuel injection and wiring from a 2003 Road King Anniversary next Saturday.

I do not have a frame yet ............ wanting a softail ........ but in Oklahoma things will be easier if I have a frame already titled.

So I thought of getting a Harley softail frame already titled instead of an aftermarket frame with only a certificate. But if it can't be made to fit without a lot of work guess that idea will go out the window.
