This may sound weird but how do you apply this stuff? I've had some for about 4 months but haven't used it yet because when I test spray it, only a few drops come out of the little spray wand thing. It seems like it would take an eternity (and 10 cans) to spray the entire engine with this. What gives? Is my wand attachement defective? Should I just tossthe wandand spray from the can?
I was considering buying the S100 Cleaning Swabs to help push the product up into the finned areas but I can't bring myself to spend $10 on a couple of fat Q-Tips. It also seems like the cotton would get caught on the crinkle finish and leave fibers all over the engine.
I jsut spray it all over the engine until the black parts look like they are new again. I then take a paper towel and wipe it down on the fins and stuff. 1 can equals many brightenings for the engine.
You may have a clogged sprayer. It should spray just like any other aeresol. the tube helps direct better. It is very easy to use and takes very little to do the black of an engine.
Thanks for the feedback. I think the sprayer is clogged. I tried it tonight without the spray wand and, like you said, it sprays like any aresol product. Trying to use it with the sprayer, it just kinds drips out of the end.
Will this help remove or cover some small amounts of wax residue on the black of the engine? Therre was some one when I got it and I ended up getting more on this spring trying to clean/polish the chrome items on the engine. I am looking for something to remove or cover these areas of wax. Thanks.
