Hey,I have an old 84 FXRP that Im thinking about reworking. It dosent get much ride time since I usually take the 06 Wide Glide.More comfortable......
Anyways I love the Exile cycle style with the polished and flat colors that they use and was wondering if that can be done on old chrome?Ive heard they use scotch brite pads over new chrome but wasnt sure how it would work on old chrome with a few pits on it.
I was also thinking of crating the origional engine and going with an Ultima or an S&S for the build.Any recommendtaions will be apreciated.
Thanks
If you have a Chrome shop in your area they can dip your parts.
Doesn't cost much to have that done.
After dipping you can refinish or re-chrome.
You can http://www.google.com for some of these services on-line also.
