I've used it maybe 5 times, always rinse it out and hang it to dry. I picked it up tonight and it had a huge hole in it. I put my fingers in it to check it out and the damned thing is falling apart! I bought it online here at one of the places that sells the detailing products. WTF?[:@]
I used to have the same problem with all the ones I had. Then a friend recommendedI wash and dry them after each use. I thoughthe was pulling my chain until I tried it. I just toss them in the washerthen dryer on low heat.So far they havelasted along time. I buy the real sheepskin ones from wallmart; you might want tocheck there for a replacement. I know they also stock a synthetic one too, but I have never tried it.
Rinse out and place over a broom handle or something similar to dry. I have sheepskin mitts 5 years old without any problems.
Most sheepskin dealers do not recommend cleaning them in a washer or placing them in a dryer.
