Default Bug Slide !!

Seen a post on here earlier about bug removal. Just thought I would let you know that I tried this on a recommendation from a friend. My local HD dealer just started carrying it as well. It ain't cheap... but it is the best bug remover and all purpose cleaner I have ever used. According to him the more you use it the better it gets.

All I know is it cleaned my bike and truck very well, and... like the bottle says bugs damn near slide off. Just passing the info along it works for me.

Damn ..........$76 bucks for a quart bottle. Wet towel for 5 minutes works fine for me.

Don't have that kind of money. Guess I'll stick with a 50/50 mix of Hydrogen Peroxide and water. Works better than anything else I've tried

A quart of hydrogen peroxide is less than two bucks at wal-mart. Water is pretty cheap, too

Don't know what you looked at.. must have been the buddy kit or something like that, but a 32oz refill is 35.00.

I got the large spray bottle and the Rag for 20 bucks. Again I have no financial interest in it was just saying it works well.

Since I purchased my 2009 Road King in May of 09 I have been using a product called FW1. It is called a "High Performance cleaning wax with Carnauba"

I have actually washed the bike twice since I got it. The water is so bad here a wash results in instant water spots. So, I hand detail it about once a month.

As far as bugs on the windshield I spray a little cleaner on a rag (old t-shirts) the bugs wipe off with very little effort, let dry, then buff with a dry rag. Works great.

Stuff averages $15.00 a can on e-bay and a can will last me 6 months easy.
