The oil based nature of pledge really makes the paint shine, although I do recall reading that it will strip the wax off. I have used it on many other bikes with no adverse affects, but I will try it to clean the chrome now...

I've got a posting about my chrome mags getting pitted in under 6 months. They are getting replace under warantee but the dealer and others on HDF say that you do have to keep a good coat of wax on them to protect the chrome. I wax my bike a few times during riding season and use S100 detail & wax for a quick wipe down. I'm planning on trying Pledge to replace the S100 but wondering if it protects too?
