It is great for restoring the luster to your fine furniture too! It's just amazing what we use stuff for that isn't intended by the manufacturer. WD-40 is another example.....it'll do everything but fix a broken heart!

One of the guys back in the 70s use to use it on his GW. It really made those plastic inter fairing parts shine.

I tried it because of this board and it works great. I've converted.

Thanks

I pledged the wifes sproty yesterday. I had stopped using after reading what 3Dog said about it, but used it on numerous other bikes I have had. If you want the dark plastic on the inside of you fairing to really shine, first use some Vinylex made by lexol, and then use pledge. Vinylex is available at pep boys. Read about it at www.lexol.com I always use it to keep the black parts shiney by spraying it on a sponge and running that over the black plastic parts. Let a thick coat sit for 10 or 15 minutes, and then wipe with a clean rag. Then hit it with pledge. It will shine like there is no tomorrow. I also use the Vinyels on my seat, leather or not. I swear by it. For the seat I take it off the bike and spray a generous amount of vinylex on it and rub it in with a bare hand. I'll let it sit for about 10 or 15 minutes, and then wipe with a clean cloth. Once a month or so and the seat will look better than new forever. Or if the seat is pure leather, try lexol instead. Anyway, I have never had any problems with pledge either. I used a wet ragb on the wifes bike, dried with a MF towel, and then pledged the tins. Nice and shiney. Then i waxed with pig snot wax. Very nice. Looks brand new. Too much coffee this am time to stop talking...

This is an OLD truckers secret. (don't ask how old I am but been using the stuff since the 70s) Lemon Pledge to detail when the truck is just a bit dusty. Lemon Pledge on everything inside except the glass.

I would. Dry it, then use the pledge. Then you should be able to california car dust it, then pledge. Do this a few times before needing another wash.
