Default Inner Fairing

If you don't have a painted inner fairing or a garage queen, the sun will get to your inner fairing if you don't do something to it.

I'm sure there are other products that do a good job, but the one thing I swear by is Son of a Gun. I had a 2008 Streetglide that I didn't do anything to the inner fairing until it was too late. I could use Son of a Gun on it and it made it look a lot better for a while, but if you have the UV white starting on your fairing, it is just a temporary fix.

If you put SOAG on a new black, unpainted inner fairing once every two months it will look great years later.

I ride to work 98% of the year (heavy rain or ice will make me drive the truck) and the bike sits in an unshaded parking lot in Arkansas just about every day. My inner fairing looks as good as the day I bought the bike yet.

As a matter of fact, when I first apply the SOAG, it looks a lot better than when it was new.

Just want to pass on something that works well for me.

I happen to have a painted inner now, but know the UV damage you mention. Thanks for the info...I will pass it on.
