Default White Wall Cleaning

Ok, the best thing I've discovered for cleaning white walls is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (and just a little water). Second best is Simple Green, water, and a (green) Scotchbrite pad. No need for Wesley's Bleech-White or other whitener.

Anybody found anything better?

I agree they are the best, if you don't want to be too harsh. I don't have the patience though, for the crumbling Magic Erasers.

I rarely clean my TWW, but when I do I use a Brillo pad. I usually need a rear tire every year, so I only use the Brillo a couple of times. Doesn't seem to cause any problems.

Don't soak em in water. Just let the water on the tires do the work and the Magic Erasers last a lot longer (shouldn't compress and certainly shouldn't crumble)

Thanks for the tip. I usually do leave them in the bucket and they crumble quickly.

I never had any luck with bleach white. Then I discovered Magic Erasers which work great! But then I stumbled upon another way by accident that was much much faster and cheap. I take a shop style paper towel and fold it. Then soak/spray it with non foaming engine degreaser and start wiping. Gets them bright white and fast! Just flip your towel over to the clean side and spray more degreaser to get them even whiter. Super quick and cheap. Really does well for guys like me that converted to chain drive.
Only way I clean my WW's now.
