Best wax as far as longevity? Best wax is like best oil, going to get a thousand answers. I would choose a sealant over a wax, wax is a dust magnet.
For perfectly polished black paint, Pinnacle Souveran would be my choice. Wolfgang Fuzion is great also.
But if the paint isn't polished to as close to perfect as possible, doesn't matter what wax. Lip stick on a pig
I like Rejex polish for my Ice Black CVO myself. It's a bit pricy but I'm happy with the results.I agree with the statement that wax is a dust magnet. Using a good polish requires that you follow the directions.
So I had a boat I used in salt water and waxed it once a year it was marine wax and worked good Boat is gone so I tried it o bike a few years back best wax I halved used on my bike. It Fleetwax I get it at a marine supply store.Cost $25.00 a can.
I no longer use wax. About a year or more ago my indy, who is a Lucas oil distributor, gave me a spray bottle of Lucas Spray Mist. In years past I have used spray wax/detailer/cleanup/etc. products from both Meguiars and also Turtlewax. Wasn't impressed. So, the Lucas Spray Mist sat around in the garage till I finally tried it. WOW! What a glossy shiny bike after using the Lucas stuff. I'm sold on it. Very easy and quick to use. Never got a shine from any wax like the Lucas shine. I likely will never use any wax ever again.
SEX WAX. Oh wait, not a surfing forum. But, seriously, 303 cleaner and protectant. Spray on rub with terry towel, clean with micro fiber when dry. No need to wash off dust first (mud, yes). Leaves a beautiful shine.
