Buddy has a ride coming up. Did some minor correction, and then ceramic coated the whole thing with mckees 37. The touring pack was new, so that did require a bit more attention. Missed a couple minor surface imperfections, but I am ocd
If i were closer i would. If he adds one more damn piece of luggage or chrome....i threatened to quit. I am not extremely fast, and imo not perfect, but i think i do an okay job if i say so myself
Looks good! McKees offers a good product at a great price that is really super easy to work with. Bikes are tough to get into a rhythm on. Just not a individually big area on a bike that you can knock out and "Get going".
Ive come to the point that on bikes its going to take what it takes time wise. I don't try to speed through it, but actually slow down some and bill accordingly.
Cars/trucks, I let the Flex do its thing
Yea. I learned that thebfirst time. I think I finally found a pad combo that works well. I used cg v36 on an orange pad. I have tried so many pad compound combos trying to find the perfect one. I do it because I like it, I dont make much money. These bikes clear coat are really frustrating. You would think they would use the hardest clear coat on the market, like the German cars.
I dont use cg exclusively. I have the 6 inch griots da machine. I would like to get a 3 inch da for the tighter spot. I do it on thebside. I like to see people super excited about their bikes and earn a little money. I mainly started detailing when I had my challenger TA and wanted it perfect for cars and coffee. I have ocd so I usually see **** no one else does, and I cant let it go .
Use your GG6 with a 3in backing plate. 3D polish and CarPro Reflect finish out on the soft clear very well for me. Its so good at finishing out for me that's all I have been using for the last 4yrs.
In the heat and humidity here, and get zero dusting, winner.
