Bought a RKS that previously lived in FLA. Now though, there is salt water corrosion cooling fins, hardwater spots on the engine, and some sort of...stuff...caked around some of the bolts. Any suggestions for cleaning this off would be appreciated. Thinking diluted Simple Green maybe?
Wash good several times with simple green and dish soap rinse let dry cold engine apply Pig spit let soak repeat. Wash with brush dry more pig spit. If that don't work repaint time.
