Curious, who has ceramic coated their scooters? Professionally applied or DIY? Brands? Would ya do it again ? Especially on black scooters, I can see a big benefit.
Might want to go over to the Detail Forum, there was lots of good discussion on Ceramic Coating. @eaglefan1 is the go-to person for advice on all things for detailing.
I had mine professionally applied (Ceramic Pro brand.) Good for 5 years. Cost $400 and is worth every penny. Gets dirty? Squirt it with a hose and it's clean. Looks freshly cleaned and waxed all the time. Guaranteed.
I heard good stuff about Avalon King. So I bought 2. It is easy to apply but it reminded me of putting rain x on. It works on all surfaces.
Not quite a fan of it because I followed the directions exactly but still didnt get that slick surface they were supposed to promote. It really depends what or why the application is for. Ceramic coating doesn't protect like clear film does.
I would follow pan the organizer on youtube as he does really good reviews on all types of car detailing products.
Can't do that my friend. That would be a dbl post. Ya gutta pick the BEST place you (or the OP) thinks their question should go and let it rip.
No dbl posting allowed. It is in the HDF rules.

Okay then. He could simply go to the Detailing Section and then post pretty much the same comment only changing the word order and over-all context of his question without running afoul of the Moderators!
