It seems like you need a very good surface to start with when using ceramic waxes / sealers, otherwise imperfections stand out more. If there are no serious scratches etc, the clay bar process will help and is mostly a must for ceramic applications. Caranuba waxes seem to cover the imperfections better, but just do not last as long or protect as well.
I use Chemical Guys ceramic and have been happy with it. I'm sure there is better out there, but the price is reasonable and it is easy to apply and wipe off. Holds up well too. Either way you go, you need to get lots of high quality microfiber towels. Not those from Wal-Mart or Harbor Freight. You can find some on Amazon, but pass on the cheap ones. And follow the care instructions with the towels and they will hold up longer.

I always keep an eye out for sales, AutoGeek just had a BOGO sale on a few different styles from Cobra

Prep, clay if needed, Iron X, and polishing paint, are the keys to good/great looking paint. Doesnt matter what LSP is used
So this applies over whatever treatments that you've already applied?
What I'm looking for is something to keep the bugs spatters from sticking now that spring is right around the corner.
@Stiggy Yes & no, yes it can be applied over other treatments; however, you can just apply it by itself. Not over uncured waxes. A little goes a long way, just a very thin application, wipe it out as thin as you can, let it dry/cure, no buffing necessary. I put a few coats on as it will layer and has good clarity.
I would not use it over ceramic finish though as ceramic finish is good by itself.
From the website:
For up to 9 months protection, use Z-CS to top coat Zaino Show Car Polish protectants, or use Z-CS by itself. You can even use Z-CS as a top coat to add high-gloss and improved durability to ANY other manufacturer's product. Z-CS extends the gloss and durability of any previously applied products. Z-CS should never be applied over uncured waxes.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Z-CS should be used very SPARINGLY. LESS than 1/4 oz can complete an average vehicle.
You will achieve the best results with Z-CS over clean and dry surfaces. Thoroughly clean and dry all surfaces.
Mist a #314 cotton applicator pad with Z-CS 1 time to preload the pad with product. Do not use an applicator pad that has been used with ANY other product. If you choose to reuse an applicator pad that has already been used with only Z-CS, store it in a sealed Ziploc style bag between uses. Holding sprayer about 4 inches from the surface, lightly spray Z-CS once directly onto the panel, avoiding any overspray. Work Z-CS into the paint evenly with the applicator pad using overlapping motions one section (18-24" area) at a time.
Allow product to fully dry. DO NOT BUFF OR WIPE OFF. Sit back and relax while Z-CS does the work! Just apply and let dry!
NOTE: Z-CS is extremely durable and should provide up to 9 months of protection for your vehicle. If your goals are maximum shine and maximum protection on everyday vehicles, we recommend 3-4 applications per year.
I've been using Chemical Bro's Banana wax (caranuba wax) shines up well then Meguiars Ceramic hybrid liquid wax to seal it off works well for me, I too enjoy cleaning and waxing my bike (probably over doing it a bit)
There is no magic coating (or sealant, or wax) that will keep bug splatters from sticking.
Keep a fresh layer of a durable sealant (or a ceramic coating) on your paint at all times. I use Polish Angel Master Sealant. When it's time to wash, drape a towel damp with warm water over the bugs for a few minutes before washing. This will help release them and make them easier to wash off.

I see you like the Polish Angel stuff. Master sealant is good, but you have to try Cosmic V2.
Meguires Deep Crystal caranuba wax for me. Leaves a deep luster on any painted surface. Smells good and easy to use. I wax my bike every few weeks because I like to. There are much more protective coatings that can be used but as far as a deep shine? Right up there with the best of them.
