Sounds like a waste of Simple Green to me. Hot water on a towel is all you need.

Pro Tip: Use the wife's toothbrush, not your own.
I can guarantee you she is using yours to clean the toilet.

It will work, I even use it to treat the dog for flea and ticks. Lather them up and let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse.

Hydrogen peroxide is best for that.

We use Baby Shampoo or a mild known dog shampoo. I wouldn't think Simple Green would be good for that since they caution you about cleaning real good after using it on their kennels. But like Gus on the Greek Wedding movie that uses Windex on literally everything, I can imagine proponents of Simple Green doing that too.

when I took my wife's 19 heritage in to get the brakes bled, I told them not to wash it when they were done, i do the same for my cars.

Right. I didn't ask them to do it.

HD engine brightener is not really a cleaner you more along the lines of Pig Spit copy. S100 you need to be careful it can spot the silver engines and fade the Black ones. I said CAN. Not will in every case.

Dawn is a high alkaline soap Like some car washes. The ones that often say use 1 OZ to a gallon, two if it is real dirty more if it is worst. It strips wax off you bike if you want and used right causes no harm.
Mix it to strong and let it sit to long it can cause spots the may never go away on some engines.
