Was doing some touch-up paint on daughter-in-laws Subaru Outback, man is that color coat paint thin on the side panels. Paint seems to chip pretty easy from stone chips. Not much thickness there at all compared to Ford, Toyota, and even Genesis/KIA paint.
Not much clear coat either.
Wonder how much they save by putting it on so thin.
I bought some silver ice metallic (or whatever it’s called) Subaru OE (allegedly) touch up paint after wife backed her ‘24 Outback into a concrete MacDonalds trashcan.
Im not a fan Japanese car manufactures paint. All the ones I've done are super soft. Subaru being the absolute worse. Just a guess, this is where they save money

Manufacturer's touch up paint often doesn't match. I've had this experience most recently with Mazda's. There's a company called ColoRite that I think can match OEM paint.

Buy some bulk PPF or clear Racing Tape, cut to fit, and put it on the front of your forks & lowers. Did that to mine and it protects the finish. When the PPF get buggered up from stone chips, I just remove and replace with new.
I just bought a Porsche Macan and the Dolomite Silver Metallic OEM touch up I bought doesn't even come close to matching. It made the rock chips more noticeable, but at least they're covered up now I guess.
