Use Dawn soap or you can use a product like Chemical Guys Clean Slate. You should probably clay bar it as well before using. I used to use F1 but switching to MAXL when I its all used up.
Only clay the paint if it needs it. Clay is an abrasive and it can/will mar the paint
Dawn will only remove wax thats on it absolute last leg, still not guaranteed.
With the price of maxl and f1, a true ceramic coating could have been used. But thats personal preference

I am not running a business. I also don't polish it to show room perfection cause I am riding it the next day. I think that's the point you are missing.

I think Lemon Pledge has become an inside joke to those who actually do professional detailing, (snicker). Almost like the inside joke of vehicle batteries lasting 25 years. Commercial application is different as those are able to be rebuilt.

And the point is most of us are not doing professional washing of vehicles. Most of us are hopefully using ours
