Default Reflecter removal

How do I remove those budugly reflectors from the fork lowers and fender sides and hopefully liberate the nice finish underneath?

personally I use a heat gun to heat up the double stick tape and using a putty knife and towel pull it loose. Then take some glue remover (one that won't damage the paint) and clean the residue off. After that if need be I rewax the area and buff it out. Be careful when heating the reflector, it gets hot and will burn. Don't hold the heat gun in one spot too long, this may damage the paint on your fender. Also be careful prying with a putty knife that you don't slip and scratch anything. I use the knife because the reflector is too hot to touch. Gloves would probably work well too. Good Luck

Take some heavy duty fishing line, about 2 feet, tie each end to some type of handle. pull the fishing line down between the reflector and the frame or what ever you are taking it off of working it back and forth. Then get your GOO GONE and remove the glue. Using the fishing line you will not mar the frame.

3M makes an adhesive remover too. Don't know if that would help any.

Hair dryer and then dental floss. Use vegtable oil or Goo Gone for the residual adhesive.

This is what I do. Just that I add a little WD-40 to the fishing line for an extra lubrication barrier against the paint.
