Hi,
I have never used it on my windshieds. I drive a patrol car and I do use it for the crappy plastic spotlight lenses my agency paid lowest dollar for. They yellow and fog up about every month and the Plast-x cleans them up like new. Also works well on the headlight lenses and the LED light bars we have.
I have always used Honda Spray Cleaner on my bikes, including the windshields. I do know that if you have scratches they make special products for that.

I use PlastX after every ride. I get the bugs off with water, then dry with lint free rag, then apply PlastX on windshield. It DOES fill in the small scratches over time and keep my shield looking new and clear. Well worth the effort.
