Cleaning Spoke Wheels
Just bought a 2008 Dyna Wide Glide & want to keep front spokes clean n shiny! Need sugestion as to intial spoke preparation, should I apply anything before chrome polish? What's the best way to apply the polish? I hear that there are thincloth strips with polish which you just apply by pulling the strip back & forth on each spoke.
Any suggestions of the best way to maintain new spokes and any product suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

After owning several bikes with spokes and trying my best to maintain their shine and prestine appearance I finally gave up!.. Waxes, polishes etc. The stock spokes are plated and the platting dulls no matter what in time..
Actually the road grime seems to coat the spokes to a point where the elements won't attack the platting as fast.
In concusion, just wash and wax as you would the rims.. and expect some dullness in time or get Chrome spokes!!
