Stock SG, muffler tips are grungy looking, sorta corroded. Thinking about shooting them with hi temp black, or does somebody know of something that cleans or protects them?

Are they corroded or just grungy and black? If it is just carbon from the exhaust try some carb cleaner or brake fluid on them. Then wipe them off.

I had same problem on my exhaust tips on my Z06 Vett, I found that any wheel cleaner will take it off then when ever you wash your bike do the exhaust pipes.
