This is the best stuff you can buy. I use it to restore acylic aquariums. It's unbelievable.

Oops! Sorry guys, I didn't see this...

Here's a good link to it. I buy it from a friend who owns a plastic shop. These are decent prices... http://store.yahoo.com/plastic-polish/

You probably don't need #3 unless you have a lot of scratches...

Interesting talk with the dealer today, He told me most people clean the windshield the wrong way, they treat it like glass, but it's plastic. Most people clean in circular motion, he said in time and at night you will start to see swirls in the windshield when a car's have their lights on, and when passing under street lights. Said that the windshield, even though it is plastic, is laminated, and it is laid bottom to top, so, when you clean it, just go up and down with the lamination, and the swirls will not appear. Not sure if this is true or not, but he has been in business along time, so, unless someone tells me different, guess this is how I will clean it....

If you use the proper cleaning agent and cloth, you won't have to worry about it, because you won't be creating any swirl marks...

I have to agree with the good comments about Plexus. I works great for cleaning and removing small nicks, scratches.

When washing or removing scratches I was told to use special cloth's like chamios or microfiber, I picked up apack of microfiber towels for use but haven't tried them yet.

Charlie1; The is NO way to get scratches out of your w/s. You can try the Plexus as it will fill tiny hairline scratches but that is all. If it is too bad consider replacing it. They aren't that expensive and well worth the investment to see where you're going.
The std. "Lexan" winshield is polycarbonate with a polysiloxane or melamine coating. ANYTHING you use to clean it other than soap and water will effectively scratch it. A product called Dri Wash n Guard is a water based polymer that does a very nice job of cleaning the w/s without any adverse effects. DO NOT USE ANY CLEANER WITH AMONIA, amonia will attack it.

Just my thoughts on the subject.[8D]
