Default RE: lexan windshield

Im had some fine sratches on my EG windsheild, was more noticeable at night while riding into oncoming headlights, went to my local HD dealer, the roaming clerk give me Novus #1 &#2 said that would take care of my windsheild, home I when to polish the windsheild, washed it with soap and water, then applied the #2 as i was told, then the #1,well it took care of the windsheild to the tune of $115.00 for a new one, come to find out after peeling the dealers price /bar code sticker off the back of the bottles ,it said do not use on coated windsheilds, which means lexan, lol well back to HD for a new windsheild, because i couldnt see at all out of my newly polished ?hazed one,lol bought a 9 1?2" windsheild which i would have upgraded to when it was time, lol then headed right to the dealer detailing guys, asked them what to use on the new one, they told me all they use is the HD glaze, polish ,sealant. and to use it on every inch of the bike, chrome, paint windsheild,in between polishing to use the HDgloss spray, works for me,hard lesson learned on the novus products on lexan .

So here I am re-hashing this.

I have 1 5" long scratch that i'd like to try to remove down near the bottom of the shield and 2 smaller ones near the top.

Some say yes, some say no.

From someone that has actually done it, whats the scoop? Thanks!
