Wax
Yea, yea I know, I'm a little **** about the way she looks. That being said I do thouroughly enjoy keeping her looking tip top, it's part of the magic for me. I'm a database/system admin by day and polishing her up is kind of a mind numbing, relaxing kind of thing if you know what I mean... When nothings on the boob tube, and I want to escape for a bit. As far as riding goes, I do find the time, she's only 10 weeks old and I have a bit over 5K on her

Well considering that I am the **** type of guy that wet sands and polishes his exhaust before he puts it on his Firebird (don't ask), I am very picky about the type of wax I use.
I have used Zaino on plenty of different cars in the past 4 years. I have used it on daily drivers, weekend cruisers, and have even had people pay me to wax there show car before an auto show. That stuff is some of the best stuff out there. I have used Klasse, Pinacle, and a few other high priced options and everytime I have came back to Zaino. The very first time you use it, yes it is very time consuming and involves a lot of work. After that it is just the same as washing your car. The great thing about it is that the wash soap also has polish in it. Everytime you wash or wax your car you are just putting on another layer of protection. I will use nothing but Zaino on any of my cars.
Now when it comes to the bike, I started off using some S100 stuff becuase I got it as a present right after I got my Night Train. I planned on switching to Zaino when I ran out of S100 but have found myself using that period. I love the total cycle cleaner and the fast detail wax. I just had some Pure S100 Carnuba wax delivered to me and that gave the bike such a nice shine that I am just oging to stick with the S100.

Guys try Pigsnot! I love it! I hear and do want to try the Klasse products, exspensive but supposed to eb the end all in waxes. I prefer the Pigsnot to the Mother's, MeGuires, Turtle, and Harley. Just works good for me.
An enthusiastic BUMP for ZAINO!
Just took my Mustang out of storage for the last 5 months, haven't polished it in 7 months. Took it to the spray wash and had people coming up to check out the car, but left asking what wax I used, because after all this time just sitting there, the wax hasn't broken down at all. The biggest water bead I had was about the size of a Tic-Tac.
Yeah, it costs a little more, but it lasts longer, is easier to apply (and remove), and nothing looks better or protects as well. If anyone wants to know what to buy or how to apply, let me know. My bike should be out of the shop in a week or two, and I can't wait to get to work on it.

I prefer Meguiars. I've used it for years on cars and motorcycles. If you really want a deep shine, particualarly on dark colors use Meguiars polish or show car glaze first and then seal it with Meguiars paste wax.
