Default Average Cost for Professional Detailing

I was wondering what is the average cost for a professional detailing on a HD? I mean wash the bike, wax paint and polish chrome, dress tires, the whole 9 yards. Have any of paid for such a service and how much did it cost you?

Thanks Craig G.

Never had it done but saw a flyer over the weekend and the basic package as you described was $50 here in So. Cal.

Wow..I would love to see what they do for 50.00!!! Lets take a full dresser for example. A complete full detail will take around 6 hours. That includes everything that can be detailed will be detailed. Besides washing, polishing soap and what not..the wash will take around 2 to 2.5 hours. The leather cleaning and dressed..Vinyl dressing..chrome sealed..paint machine polished then two layers of sealant and then wax. We charge 250.00.
Granted some do not meed everything...usually because we have previously detailed the bike and that is taken into consideration.
For 50.00 you will probably get a quick wash and the wax spread over the paint to cover defects.

I charge 75.00 for a (non dresser) bike that does not need machine polishing and it goes up from there. Please do not let anyone use tire dressing on your ride. It is a really bad idea. I will not take someone elses life into my hands by using tire dressing on a motorcycle.

At Bartels Harley in Marina Del Rey, the local shop they charge $75 or $100 if its extra dirty. I'll do it for ya for $50. I actually enjoy detailing my bike. If you cn afford to do this, my hats off to ya. I also enjoy working on it myself, so if anything ever happens, I have an idea of what to do , and can fix it myself. It's well worth the time to me. Once again send me a message, I'll do yours for $50 at my house. If I have to travel it'll cost you more. J/K but I was kicking aroun the idea of starting my own detail business for those who can afford it. If you want it done, lemme know.

We dont not use any silicone based dressings at all..on any part of a bike. One the sidewalls we use a waterbased rubber sealant that will last through numerous washings and will not have any adverse affects on the tires performance.
