Help for a weathered looking Bike !

I picked up 2007 1200c sportster for my wife at a good price, but the bike sat out in the elements for a bit. How do we get back that nice black look on the motor, seems to have faded. Also need tips on removing slight surface rust on the chrome and bolt heads etc. The seat is perfect but also has that dull look? Any detailing tips would be appreciated.

Find somebody that does automobile teflon coating. They use a pretreat that will shine that puppy right up. you can apply wax afterwards, no need for the teflon coating unless you want to spend the $

For your surface rust use a piece of 0000 steel wool and Mothers Chrome Polish. Be sure to keep the steel wool moist when cleaning. For the seat try some Doc Baileys. I've heard of guys spraying the motor down with WD-40. Not sure how that works but the guys that claim to do that their motors always look good.
