Default Boot Burns?

I recently saw something about a product that cleans boot burns, etc. off pipes and engine casings, now I can't remember where I saw it! Anybody know what this stuff is called and where you can get it? Thanks!

Down in the detailing section of this forum is a whole slew of suggestions. I use several things like Blue Job, Never Dull and Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. All work just fine.

Just tried Blue Job on some boot burns. Didn't even touch them. Its going to take something a little more abrasive. I will say that it did what it claimed on some blueing pipes. Had a small section between my heat shields and this product did an excellent job restoring the chrome.

It also did an ecellent job shining some chrome, but it's a little costly just to use as a chrome polisher.

SMOKERMIKE is right on with his solution to the problem. I've used this stuff for years and it's the best. Just make sure your pipes are COLD and use a soft cloth. No need to rub hard. Keep the cloth damp with Goof Off and turn it often. Leaves no scratches. I'd suggest you wipe the area down after with a water dampened cloth.
