I got a set of hooker troublemaker pipes and there is one particluar area on the upper pipe, right in the middle about half way down the pipe, that I cant get to shine like the rest of it. its just dull looking and almost looks like its tarnished, like a very light tint of yellow. Does anyone have any ideas of what will bring back the original shine. I have tried turtle wax, neverdull, and bombs away.
Hi!
I was at a show in West Palm Beach FL and I purchased Master Formula Metal Gloss.
It is a liquid that is Jeweler's Rouge. The stuff is amazing. It will even clean and shine the inside of the ends of your pipes. It even eliminates scratches.
I used it on our 65 Corvette and the bumpers look like brand new and the shine is mirror-like.

Master Formula is great...follow with their Sealer.
Gords is also good and has some sealant built in.
The English Chrome Products are really good and come in various strengths.
I got some of this stuff too. It is great. The guy at the show used it on a silver ring I wear, and I was sold. I did the entire bike the next day, and wow it looked great...
If there's a yellow patch it's likely that the chrome has been removed somehow revealing the nickel finish underneath.
No amount of polishing would bring back the chrome finish as it's not there anymore.
I had this with my Road King Custom and just had to live with it.
Remember though - no one else would ever notice!!!!
