I rode my bike to church this morning since it was a nice day although pretty cool at 40 degrees in dress clothes. I cleaned up, but i haven't washed my bike in quite a while so she was pretty dirty. I was walking out after mass and saw a friend of my bending over my bike. I yelled out to him a couple times but he didn't move. He stepped away as I got to my bike. Much to my disbelief he had written WASH ME in the dirt on the lid of my saddle bag I couldn't believe he did that. I'm not necessarily a violent type, but sure wanted to deck him. However we are friends and we just walked out of church. I did tell him that writing in dirt over paint is like writing with sandpaper. He said he did it very lightly. He knew I was pissed and not much else was said and we left.
He did spur me to wash my bike tonight (it really did need it) and fortunately I couldn't see any scratches or damage to the paint. I just couldn't believe he had done that! He is a non-rider, but I would never even do it do someone's car, much less someone's bike.

if you want to see the scratches or show them to him, take some flour and your wifessoft bristled covver up brush * like a reealy soft feather like* and dust the lid like you are looking for fingerprints, then get a black light and hold a black like over it, the flour will selttle into the scratches and the black liek will make them glow
What an ignorant a-hole. it's really hard to have something nice and keep it that way with so many people in this world who don't have respect for others belongings.
I'll bet he would flip out if you handled a toy of his in a disrespectful manner, and maybe you should.
Man all you did was go to church...what are you supposed to do - hang a no touch sign???
I don't mean to rile you up. I know two people like that and it drives me nuts.
