brake fluid acts like paint stripper. it can take paint down to metal if left on too long. i seen it done.
I don't understand company truck. his / yours? where you was at. but if its his truck or company you know of then yeah my first recomendation would be to contact the guys company and file a claim. get a quote for a respray just the way it is. I can't tell if the flames are screwed too. if so it will be more costly.
my recomendation would be to respray it. compounds and such take the clear off the fender.
but if need be you can get by doing it. just remember don't press too hard let the compound do the work. also don't stay in one spot too long. and if you are going with an orbital polisher go easy first. cause you can burn the paint and make it look even worst.
if you never done it before go to a detailer or body shop and ask if they can just buff out that spot. maybe worth more in the end if you don't know what you are doing.

good luck with it.
I've been going back and forth on this - do I take it to a shop to see if they can fix it or do I try to fix on my own? I don't know...
Or should I just take this as a sign that God wants me to re-paint my tins Denim Black? (that's what I want, too )
And the guy was at my work, working on our company truck. I think he's like a mobile detailer but all we had was his cell phone #. . .
